Frequently Asked Questions
Everything you need to know about shopping for sustainable home goods.
Where does Habitat ReStore GTA source its products?
Our inventory consists of new and gently used home decor, appliances, and building materials donated by local businesses and residents. Every purchase helps support Habitat for Humanity's mission to build affordable housing.
Do you offer delivery for large furniture or appliances?
Yes, we offer professional delivery services within the Greater Toronto Area for a flat fee based on your location. Delivery can be scheduled at the time of purchase.
What is your return policy for used items?
All items are sold 'as-is' to maximize the funds going toward our charitable builds. However, we offer a 14-day return window for electrical appliances if they are found to be mechanically defective.
How do you ensure the quality of donated items?
Our team inspects every donation to ensure it meets our safety and quality standards. Appliances are tested for functionality, and furniture is checked for structural integrity before being listed.
Can I donate my old furniture through the online store?
While you cannot donate directly through the checkout, you can use our 'Donate' portal to schedule a free pickup for large items or find a drop-off location near you.
Are your prices inclusive of sales tax?
Prices listed on our online store do not include HST. Sales tax will be calculated and added to your total at the final checkout stage.
